Are there any Green Tea fingernail products that really work?

My fingernails are deplorable! They are brittle and have striations in them. Are the products they advertaise on TV really worth buying? Are they taken internaly, or are they put on the nail itself? Are there any Green Tea fingernail products that really work?
Green Tea? That surprises me since Green Tea wouldn't help the nails any more than being a simple antioxidant.

If you are looking for products for nail health, make sure you are taking your RDA of Calcium and try some Biotin, Silica (typically in the form of Horsetail), L-Cysteine, and some B vitamins (all of which would be taken internally).

It may take some time to notice healthier nails because these products help with the health of finger/toe nails and will only influence the new living nails that are being produced. In the mean time, you could try some nail polish... there are even clear nail polishes that help to keep nails strong (just coating them, so it's temporary). Are there any Green Tea fingernail products that really work?
