You have to wait for it to heal. Depending on how far under your nail it is you might just have to leave it be and wait it out. If it's not too far underneath, you can put some neosporin on. It has a built in analgesic and will help with the pain. It will also keep the cut moist which promotes faster healing. How to get rid of a paper cut under fingernail?
Okay, this will sound weird, but can you see a little splotch of blood under your nail? If not, go with a bandaid and don't type. If so, the pain is caused by blood building up under the nail, not the cut itself. If it only hurts when you touch it or the pain isn't terrible, leave it alone, maybe soak on some warm water. If it really, really hurts, follow these steps.

Get a metal sewing needle or push pin.

heat the pointy part for a while.

now, carefully, touch it to the nail over the spot of blood. Press gently, the nail will melt away, leaving a small hole, don't go too far or touch your skin. This doesn't hurt at all, but it looks weird, so get someone to do it for you.

there, the pressure is gone!
