How do you fix fingernail polish that got ruined on your nail? You thought it was dry but it wasn't?

I would just redo it but I don't know how to put the fingernail polish remover on that one nail without messing up the hand I'm using

what do you think - gloves? How do you fix fingernail polish that got ruined on your nail? You thought it was dry but it wasn't?
Try a q-tip to remove the nail polish on just that one fingerHow do you fix fingernail polish that got ruined on your nail? You thought it was dry but it wasn't?
Take a q-tip and dip it in the remover. That way, you won't have to ruin the rest of your manicure.
If you want to avoid this sort of thing in the future, Sally's has a product called 'HandsDown Ultra,' which are nail %26amp; cosmetic pads. One side of the pad has a plastic barrier and a tab which you use to hold the pad. This will prevent any polish remover from ruining your manicure when using it either on yourself, or someone else. Give them a try!
use a Q-tip that is what i use when i do that
At the salon if the mistake isn't that big they take a Lil fingernail polish remover and lightly rub over the area and it fixes the mistake. That or take it off and repaint it.
I put a glove on the opposite hand a remove the polish from the nail on the other hand. Good Luck!
lol, so funny! This happened to me on Friday. I just had my nails done , i thought they were dry, they weren't! One has been ruined!

If you have someone else around to redue that one nail thats ur best bet! Other wise nail polish remover will ruin the rest of ur nails.

Or wait for them all to dry then with a q-tip remove the polish on one nail. This way u dont mess them all up by having to much nail polish remover.
on my hand . i wet a finger and gently rub the smugged polish back into position. this may sound gross but you can lick the polish back in its place and then pat it down gently. if you need to remove it and start over use a q tip to rub polish remover over nail. that helps keep other fingers from getting polish remover. all this works for me good luck. being ambidextrous helps too ;)
take a cue tip with nailpolish remover, run itover the smugged spot soit'ssmooth er andthen repaint
Exactly, maybe a plastic glove, or pick up a nail polish remover pen. (found at your local drug store for about $5) it is really helpful to me. Not only can you fix your nails, but also the little imperfections that get on your skin.
nail polish remover...take it off, try again : ) lol
get a cotton ball and put the remover on one side only, this should not ruin your other hand
you don't actually have to remove all the polish and repaint. dab a little bit of nail polish remover on your index finger of your other hand - not directly on the smudged nail!- and use that finger to gently go over the area where the smudge is. if the polish has not set entirely, you should actually be able to smooth out the smudged area!

hope this helps!
I take a Q-Tip and put polish remover on it, and LIGHTLY rub it over to make it smooth. Then repolish ..
cutip???
If you have the same color polish, you will get the best result by using a q-tip, removing the polish and redoing. If you don't have that color polish, or if you don't want to go through all that trouble, try using a clear polish. With a few strokes, it may blend in the messed up area so it doesn't show so bad.
let everything dry then remove with gloves i suppose will do
take a q-tip and dip it in the nail polish remover so you can remove the eccess polish
Wait til it all dries and then use fingernail polish to take off the nail polish on that one finger. Then redo it.
You could use a q-tip, or you could get the disposable thin latex gloves to protect the one hand's nail polish. Also, you can get some kinds of nail polish removers where you just dip your finger into, one finger at a time.
just buy some fingernail polish remover and re-paint the nail.
whatever
