In a couple of weeks. You can get some aloe vera 100% gel OTC and if you apply it over the area and the whole nail especially the matrix the nails will grow faster. Taking a little biotin about 30 mg will also help the nails, found with the vitamins OTC and the OUCH will be gone faster.How long does it take for a fingernail to grow out of the quick when broken?
I hate it when that happens!!! I usually put a bit of antibiotic ointment and cover the quick with a band-aid. The tenderness is gone in a day or two, then if you can just leave it alone (which I cant!) it will grow to showing white tip within a couple of weeks. (different for everyone)
