I have broken a fingernail off down into the nail and would like it to grow out more before it breaks off down so far. That is painful. Is there a way of preventing it?I have broken a fingernail into the nail and would like to let it grow before it breaking completely.?
Cut it as low as you can without it hurting. Wrap a band-aid over it (with the pad over the nail) slightly looser than you would over a cut. This will protect it from bumping into things. Trim it as it grows out until the break is completely grown out.
