The side of my finger by my nail really hurts, but i don't know why?How do i know if this is an ingrown fingernail?
Yer i get that from when i bite my nails to much, first time i thought it was a ingrowing fingernail and left it, hurts like hell even if you gently touch the side i just left it and it got better, ive had this happen quite a few times now and im usually ok after about a week, just dont get it dirty incase you get an infection and if it gets any worse like you have an infection or if it gets alot more painfull then i would say go see a doctor, to be honest i dont think its an ingrowing fingernail as im pretty sure a doctor has to remove your nail if it is and ive never seen a doctor about it and ive been fine.
