How do i get fingernail polish (dry-ed) out of the carpet?

my two year old poured white (glad it wasnt red) fingernail polish on the blue carpet about 3 days ago how do i get it out?How do i get fingernail polish (dry-ed) out of the carpet?

ohh that stinks. well i have light pink on my dark pink carpet. ( not too bad.) i could prolly cut it (their is not a lot) but if their is a lot then idk.
