How to remove fingernail polish from the skin?

My daughter got it on her hands painting her nails. I don't know anything about it.How to remove fingernail polish from the skin?
You would remove nail polish from the skin the same way you would with unwanted polish on your fingernails: nail polish remover. Decent ones can be found in any drug store. Use a cotton ball or q-tip soaked in remover and gently rub on the polish to remove it.How to remove fingernail polish from the skin?
I always shower or have a nice long bath after painting nails, it softens the nail varnish and is easy to gently scrap off the skin, if there is alittle bit like around the nails, if we are talking about a lot then u will have to use nail varnish remover. but soak them in some soapy water (or just take a bath) and it should just scratch off :) x

EDIT

using nail varnish remover next to painted nails will cause it to come off making her have to do it again, it will seriously mess them up :)
remove it with nail polish remover but be careful so you don't remove the polish on her nails and then use wash and use a hand lotion
Acetone (nail polish remover)
