How to peirce your own fingernail at home?

I want to peirce my fingernail, yet I cannot seem to find the drill needed anywhere. Can I just use a saftey pin or is there something better to use?

Also, if you could tell me anything else regarding this peircing, it would greatly be thanked. How to peirce your own fingernail at home?
If you use a safety pin, you'll need a steady hand to carefully ';drill'; a hole through your nail, without rushing it.

Otherwise, if you just apply brute force, you'll most likely have a crack instead of a hole.

Be very careful in how you position the needle and how much pressure you're applying as well. If you make a mistake, you could end up driving the needle into the nailbed underneath the nail. How to peirce your own fingernail at home?
Use a sanatized safety pin. Don't drill or rush, or it will crack. Before doing so, clean in, dry it, and put a clear coat on to strengthen it. Be careful, and dont go too close to the very tip of the nail, because it's much weaker there, and dont go too close to the base of the nail or risk a stab wound lol.

Good luck =)
