How do you get fingernail polish out of the carpet?

My daughter just spilled blue fingernail polish all over the carpet. I mean a lot. I tried fingernail polish remover, but that didn't help. HELP!!!How do you get fingernail polish out of the carpet?
You should not have used the polish remover. The best thing to do is to just let it dry. Afterwards, you can just trim it off.How do you get fingernail polish out of the carpet?
Try Rubbing Alcohol
* All-purpose spray cleaner To 2 cups warm water add 2 tablespoons lemon juice, 1 tablespoon baking soda, 1/2 teaspoon dish-washing liquid and 1 teaspoon borax (figure A). Stir, pour in a bottle and use as you would any spray-and-wipe all-purpose cleaner.

* Dish-washing liquid Combine 1 cup hot water and 1/4 cup soap flakes and stir. Let mixture set until it has dissolved and is cool. Next, add 1/4 cup glycerin and about 1/2 teaspoon lemon-essence oil (figure B. Stir with a fork to break up the gel, and store in a labeled container. Pour 2 to 3 teaspoons under running water for dishes.
