I'm getting my nails done soon and i was just going to have acrylic applied over my real nails. However, about two days ago, one of my fingernails broke and is now much shorter than the rest. Is there any way that I can get my fingernail to grow to be at least kind of as long as the others, or should I just forget about it and have the manicurist cut all of my nails off and apply fake nails? Is it possible to make one fingernail grow about 2 millimeters in the next three days?
If you only need one nail to reach a certain length, have only that one nail repaired. The manicurist can apply a tip and then put a thin silk wrap on so that you do not have one thick acrylic nail. You can also apply a ';fake nail'; to that nail and then coat all the nails in the same polish. I'm guessing this is for a special occasion. Unless you are going to keep up the acrylic set, I wouldn't recommend getting them put on for one day - once they are off, it takes a while for your nails to recover.
